In the heart of Mexico City we can find an old building with a lot of history and a lot of cool. Finished in the XVIIIth century this old house now is the home of MUMEDI (Museo Mexicano del Diseño – Mexican Musem of Design), with collections of the most avant garde mexican designers. You can also find design workshops, exhibits, a very chic cafeteria and a small boutique hotel.
They have a small MUMEDISHOP with what is considered Mexico’s biggest specialized bookstore in photography, fashion, design and advertising books, a collection of jewerly, design objects and crafts.
Food truck mania has hit San Diego. Rolling to the racetrack for one glorious day only, the Del Mar Food Truck Fest showcased over 40 of SoCal’s best mobile kitchens, marking their first-ever time at the fairgrounds/ racetrack and the largest truck gathering San Diego has ever seen. It was a sunny, hot day and people couldn’t be readier for some tasty grills. Some trucks had lines of over 30 minute wait time, but it was well worth it.
